A Christ-Centered Church on West Tuscarawas Street
Trinity Gospel Temple has been a fixture in Canton, Ohio for over half a century, gathering on West Tuscarawas Street in the heart of the city. The church describes itself as a Christ-centered congregation where scripture is taught and God is given the praise, honor and glory that He deserves. All are welcome, regardless of age, class, race, gender or any other category, because, as the church puts it, God loves all His children. Its motto, drawn from the teaching of pastor and writer Brother Dave Lombardi, is: "All you need is faith in God because faith in God moves mighty mountains."
Sunday Mornings in Canton, Sunday Evenings Across Town
Sunday worship begins at 10:00 am at the Tuscarawas Street building, where Pastor Dana Gammill leads the main service. A second Sunday gathering takes place at 6:00 pm at Cathedral of Life with Pastor Michael Gammill, extending the church's reach across the region. For those tuning in from a distance, services are livestreamed on the church's YouTube channel, and recordings also air on local and satellite television.
A Weekly Television Schedule
Trinity Gospel Temple maintains a regular broadcast presence in addition to its livestream. Services are shown on Massillon Cable channel 22 (621 on digital) on Sundays at 7:00 am, and on GEB (Global Evangelism Broadcast) DirecTV channel 363 on Sundays at 8:00 am and Fridays at 7:00 am.
Wednesday Nights Around the Building
Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm turn the church into a school, with five different classes running simultaneously. Pastor Dana Gammill leads a marriage class in the Green Room, while Pastors Hunter and Allison Fowler work with youth in the Studio. Pastor Michael Gammill meets with young adults in the Youth Room, Deana Reed teaches an adult class in the Main Sanctuary, and Dr. Sharon Carnes leads biblical studies in the Adult Classroom. Online video classes from Dr. Carnes are also posted for at-home study.
Children's Ministry from Nursery Through Young Adults
The children's ministry serves families from the nursery level up through young adults, so parents and children can attend church together. Classes are organized by age, and the Wednesday night schedule gives young people a dedicated space of their own alongside the adult classes.
The Dream Center and Community Outreach
Outreach is part of the church's identity. The Dream Center runs a basketball program with its own rules waiver and seasonal schedule, engaging young people in the surrounding neighborhood. The church also points visitors to a sister site for additional event information.
Books by Brother Dave
Trinity Gospel Temple carries the writing ministry of Brother Dave Lombardi through a small online bookshop. The Substance of Faith and The Audacious Mandate of The Believer are each available for $15 (regularly $20). The first book captures what Lombardi calls the powerful essence of living a faith-filled life, while the second focuses on stabilizing faith and equipping believers to make disciples of all nations.
