A Home for the Hurting on Park Springs Boulevard
Park Springs Bible Church has been a steady presence on Park Springs Boulevard in Arlington, Texas, for decades. The church's self-description, a home for the hurting, captures both what it is and what it aspires to be. At Park Springs, the community is discovering life in God's grace and sharing that life-changing grace with others. What that looks like is not a perfect church, but a home for the hurting. That motto shapes everything from the way newcomers are welcomed on Sunday mornings to the way the church invests in its Soul Care biblical counseling ministry.
Sundays at 10:30
The main gathering meets every Sunday at 10:30 AM at 5515 Park Springs Blvd. The service runs a little over an hour and follows a familiar pattern: a time of music and singing, readings from the Bible, a sermon teaching from the Bible, and concluding with more singing. The music is led by a full band of gifted musicians, and the style is modern paired with hymns and occasional throwback songs. Song choices are intentionally aligned with the sermon passage, since the church sees worship as a response to who God is and what He has done.
The environment is casual. Visitors are encouraged to come as they are. Coffee and donuts are available in the cafe before the service, and people often linger afterward to get to know one another. The congregation is multi-generational, with a diverse mixture of ages and backgrounds, and the church is purposeful about being a place where new people feel welcome.
Children have their own programs during the service. Babies through kindergarten meet in the Nursery Hall. First through sixth graders stay with their families for worship and then are dismissed to Children's Worship during the message. Seventh grade and up remain in the service with the adults. All volunteers who work with children are background-checked and trained through Ministry Safe, and a check-in desk provides security tags for each child.
Wednesday Nights
Park Springs believes that spiritual growth extends well beyond the one-hour Sunday gathering, so it builds much of its discipleship programming around Wednesday nights during the school year, from 6:15 PM to 7:30 PM. The same hour-and-fifteen-minute window hosts a men's Bible study, a women's Bible study, co-ed studies, the Summit youth gathering, and the children's midweek program. Families can arrive together and find something for every age. The intentional, school-friendly timing reflects the church's awareness that families have full weeks.
Kids: From Nursery Through Sixth Grade
The children's ministry is led by Mariah Craig, Children's Coordinator, and her team. The mission is to disciple children by God's grace, helping them know Jesus and make Him known. On Sundays, infants through kindergarten are cared for in the Nursery Hall while first through sixth graders join their families for worship before being released to Children's Worship during the message. On Wednesday evenings during the school year, infants and kindergarten meet in the Nursery Hall while first through sixth graders enjoy worship, Bible study, small groups, missions, and games together. The curriculum blends First Look, Gospel Story, and Children Desiring God materials, and every volunteer is background-checked and Ministry Safe trained.
Students and College
West Keeble serves as Student and College Pastor, overseeing both the junior and senior high ministry and the college ministry. Summit, the student gathering, meets on Wednesdays at 6:15 PM in the Youth Building during the fall and spring semesters. It is a time of growth, friendship, and exploration of faith for high schoolers.
The college ministry gathers 18-to-25-year-olds on Thursday nights from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Nystrom House. The evenings include dinner, Bible study, and games, and are designed to support young adults through the pivotal transition years while forming lasting connections.
Home Groups at the Heart
Home Groups sit at the center of Park Springs' ministry model. The church envisions every member engaged in the journey of being formed into the image of Christ through whole-life discipleship with other believers, and Home Groups are the primary context for that formation. Each group gathers weekly for study, accountability, prayer, and fellowship, and operates around two core values: In Community and On Mission. Groups are encouraged to reach out intentionally through evangelism, strategically fulfill God's purpose for their group, and become neighbors who extend love to those around them.
Soul Care: Biblical Counseling
PS Soul Care is the biblical counseling and mentoring ministry of Park Springs Bible Church. It is grounded in the conviction that the Bible is not only relevant but also sufficient to address life's difficulties. The ministry offers biblical counseling and mentoring for both men and women, walking alongside people through life's challenges and seeking growth and transformation through the wisdom of Scripture. The Soul Care team includes Erin Kuthe as Coordinator and Counselor, along with counselors Chuck Crook and Rebecca Johnson.
Men and Women
Park Springs Women's Ministry exists to encourage and equip women to grow in Christ, form authentic relationships, and serve others. Its offerings include Bible studies, retreats, special events, and community projects, engaging women of all ages and life stages.
Park Springs Men's Ministry gathers men in supportive, respectful, and meaningful fellowship. The all-inclusive men's discipleship group meets every Wednesday from 6:15 PM to 7:30 PM, building faith, sharing insights, and growing together as godly men, husbands, and fathers.
Local Missions
The church frames its local missions around the parable of the Good Samaritan, challenging members to surrender plans, see the worth of every person, serve those with visible and hidden wounds, and sacrifice time, comfort, and resources to bring healing. Park Springs partners with several organizations to live this out: CarePortal for foster care, China Outreach Ministries for English conversation with Chinese students, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Lifeline for adoption support, Metroplex Women's Clinic for free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and STI testing, Phased In for transitional living among emancipated foster youth, and a school outreach to Mary Moore Elementary and Boles Junior High just across the street. A Teacher Prayer Team assigns praying people to teachers in the Arlington Independent School District, with a goal of 170 teachers through Park Springs and 1,000 in connection with other churches.
Global Missions
Park Springs supports a number of long-term global partners. John and Ruth Carr serve with Wycliffe Bible Translators. Ray and Ruth Ann Gorrell focus on connecting with international students in Arlington. Rod and Pam Kinch serve with Wycliffe in Bogota. Daniel and Kim Irvin serve with Greater European Mission in Scotland. The Ethne Institute equips pastors in India. Fe Comunidad Bíblica is a church led by Moises Ruvalcaba in Tesistán, Jalisco, Mexico, near Guadalajara. Islands Church is a church plant in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, led by Andy and Cassia Worcester.
What We Believe
Park Springs Bible Church holds to a straightforward evangelical statement of faith. The church believes in one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary, died for our sins, rose from the dead, and made a way for all people to be saved by faith alone in him. The Holy Spirit glorifies Christ, convicts and regenerates sinners, baptizes, indwells and seals all believers at the moment of salvation, and fills, guides, instructs, gifts, and empowers all believers. The Bible is inspired by God, inerrant in the original writings, the final authority in faith and life, and the true guidebook for living. The church believes in a fallen human race separated from God without human remedy, in personal sanctification that occurs at salvation and continues daily through the Word and Holy Spirit, in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ, in two ordinances: baptism and the Lord's Table, and in the imminent, personal, premillennial, and pretribulational return of Christ.

Their releases include the Christmas album Always, the Changed EP and its Changed (Live) EP, the single Home for the Hurting, and a radio edit of Jesus Always. Resources like chord charts are available by emailing Amanda Chapman.
Sermons, Events, and Giving
Sermons are available on the church's YouTube channel, on Spotify, and through the Park Springs Sermons podcast on Apple Podcasts. The church calendar and event registration are hosted on Church Center, and online giving is also available through that platform. A prayer request form is available for those who would like the congregation to pray for them.
