The Full Gospel, Heard By All
Shoreline Fellowship meets in a low-slung building a few blocks north of the Shoreline South/148th light-rail station, on a tree-lined stretch of 5th Avenue NE in Shoreline, Washington. Its name says what it teaches and what it does: a Spirit-empowered community devoted to the full gospel of Jesus Christ, welcoming the whole family.
The church calls itself a Christ-centered, Spirit-led, non-denominational community passionate about helping people encounter God, grow strong in faith, and live out the gospel in everyday life. Across Sunday worship, weekly Bible study, a Friday worship night, a monthly healing service, and a street outreach that meets at area light rail stations, Shoreline Fellowship keeps the same message in view: the full gospel, heard by all.
Sunday Mornings at 10:30
Sunday worship begins at 10:30 AM. The service is a gathering for worship, connection, and encouragement, with songs and teaching set up for the whole family to attend together before children step out into their own programming. New teaching is posted every Monday on the church's YouTube channel so the Sunday message can be watched on demand throughout the week.
Kids Ministry: From Little Lambs to Bold Lions
Sundays are designed to be just as welcoming for children. The Kids Ministry, called Lambs to Lions, runs every Sunday alongside the main service with Bible lessons, encouraging friendships, and creative activities. The vision is to see children grow from little lambs into bold, confident lions for Christ. Younger families, parents who have been raising children for years, and anyone looking for a church home where their kids can grow in faith are all invited to come.
Wednesday Nights: Bible Study and Studio One55
Two gatherings happen at once on Wednesday evenings at 7 PM. Adults gather for a Spirit-led Bible study, asking real questions, encountering Jesus, and leaving equipped to live out the gospel. At the same time, students in 7th through 12th grade meet for Studio One55, a high-energy youth gathering led by Pastor Patrick with relatable Bible teaching and exciting activities that encourage students to put God first. Both run through the school year.
Friday Nights Around the Table
Friday nights begin with dinner. Around 6:00 PM, the church sets a table, plates food, and lets conversation go where it will. By 7:00 PM the evening shifts into unhurried worship: voices lifted, hearts open, no rush. The night is dedicated solely to worship. The invitation is the same one the church repeats all week: come hungry, come tired, come as you are.
A Monthly Healing Service
On the first Sunday of every month at 6:30 PM, Shoreline Fellowship hosts a dedicated Healing Service. Whatever a person is facing, physical pain, emotional wounds, spiritual oppression, or any other burden, the team makes room for God, praying in person for those in need and believing together for healing, freedom, and hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. People come from across the community and from around the world, and the prayer team considers it an honor to believe with them for the healing, peace, and wholeness that Jesus brings.
Monday Prayer and Weekly Outreach
Monday nights at 7 PM are set aside for corporate prayer. The church gathers to seek God together, listen for His voice, and intercede for families, the church body, and the Shoreline community in the presence of the Holy Spirit. On Thursdays at 1:30 PM, the Prayer and Healing Outreach Team meets to take the love of Jesus beyond the church walls, praying for people at the Northgate light rail, in malls, and across Seattle. Training is provided in person, and newcomers are welcome whether or not they have prayer experience.
Men's and Women's Fellowship
Men's and Women's Ministries meet monthly for fellowship, encouragement, prayer, and spiritual growth. The ladies gather on the first Saturday of every month at the church at 9:30 AM. The men's meetings move around, with different times and places each month, and always include good-natured humor along with the fellowship. Both are designed as welcoming places to build meaningful relationships, strengthen a walk with God, and be encouraged alongside others in every season of life.
Meet the Pastoral Team
Lead Pastor Alex grew up in Denver, Colorado, in a family that was at church from early childhood. He graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute with a Bachelor of Practical Ministry in Pastoral Studies and a Bachelor of Biblical Studies, where a love for God's Word, pastoral leadership, and worship took root. Over the past ten years he has served across Colorado, Texas, and Utah in youth ministry, worship, creative media, preaching and teaching, discipleship, and leadership development. He and his wife Taylor have two sons, Adrian and Dallas, and are committed to helping Shoreline Fellowship grow in love, spiritual and emotional health, and authentic community.
Patrick Wahlmeier has pastored the youth at Shoreline Fellowship since 2004, leading Studio One55 year after year with relatable Bible teaching. David and Mareena Ball direct the Lambs to Lions Kids Ministry. Mareena has been part of Shoreline Fellowship since 1998, and David serves as a police officer in south Snohomish County. Together they love teaching the little ones.
What Shoreline Fellowship Believes
Shoreline Fellowship holds to a full-Gospel, Pentecostal-stream statement of faith. The church teaches that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the supreme authority for faith and conduct, that God exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, the Savior of humanity. Salvation is a free gift of God's grace received through faith in the finished work of the cross. Water baptism by immersion is an act of obedience for those who have personally trusted Him as Savior.
The church also teaches that every true believer is indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and that baptism in the Holy Spirit is a distinct, subsequent experience empowering believers to be witnesses for Christ, with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit enables. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are active in the church today. Divine healing and miracles are gracious works of God, available to believers. Shoreline Fellowship looks for the imminent, bodily return of Jesus Christ and teaches the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death, the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and the reality of Satan whose defeat was secured at the cross.
Getting There from the Light Rail
The church is a quick three-to-four block walk from the Shoreline South/148th light-rail station, on the same street as the station itself. Members of the congregation take the same Sunday journey by transit, and newcomers are welcome to do the same: save gas, hop on the train, stroll a few blocks, and join neighbors on the way to worship.
