Holy Family Parish anchors the Catholic life of Nutley, New Jersey from its long-standing home at 28 Brookline Avenue. The parish describes itself as a community rooted in faith, prayer, and service, gathering families and neighbors for Mass in both English and Italian, for Eucharistic Adoration, and for the religious education of its youngest members. Visitors can livestream Masses and recordings through the parish's video page.
Weekend Mass Schedule
Weekend Masses are celebrated in the Main Church. On Saturday evening, the 5:30 PM Mass is followed by a 7:00 PM Mass offered in Italian. On Sunday, Mass is offered at 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 12:00 PM. The Italian Mass is a particular point of identity for the parish, reflecting the heritage of many longtime Nutley families.
Daily Mass and the Rosary
Weekday Mass is celebrated Monday through Friday at 8:45 AM in the Church, with an additional 7:00 AM Mass in Mother Cabrini Chapel during Advent and Lent. On Saturday morning, Mass is offered at 8:45 AM. The Daily Rosary is prayed in the Main Church on Monday through Saturday at 8:20 AM, before the morning Mass, and again at 9:15 AM immediately after Mass. On Sunday, the Rosary is prayed at 12:45 PM, right after the noon Mass.
Eucharistic Adoration and Holy Hour for Life
Adoration is held on the First Friday of each month from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Mother Cabrini Chapel at the Parish Center. On most Saturdays, Adoration continues from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM in the same chapel. Each third Saturday of the month, the parish gathers in the Main Church from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM for the Holy Hour for Life, praying for the dignity of human life.
