A Neighborhood Congregation on Firman Drive
Cornerstone Family Church sits in a quiet stretch of Richardson, Texas, just south of Campbell Road at 1784 Firman Drive. The building is modest, but the schedule that fills it through the week tells the story of a church built around the Word of God, worship, and steady fellowship.
The church gathers each Sunday morning for Bible study at 9:30, a praise and worship service at 10:30, and a shared meal one Sunday a month. Midweek, the doors open again on Thursday mornings for an adult Bible study. A children's ministry and a youth ministry run alongside the adult schedule, and a growing library of recorded messages keeps the congregation connected between Sundays.
Sunday Morning Rhythm
Cornerstone runs two adult Sunday School classes at 9:15 AM, both open to anyone who wants to come. Charlotte Harper teaches Faith Builders, and Judy Wise leads a class on the Works of the Holy Spirit. Classes are designed for adults who want to dig deeper into Scripture before the main service.
At 10:30 AM the congregation gathers for the Sunday Morning Worship Service. The format is straightforward: praise and worship followed by a Word-based message. Visitors are invited to enter through the center doorway at the front of the building. A simple fellowship luncheon follows the service on the second Sunday of every month, with church members bringing a favorite dish to share.
Thursday Morning Bible Study
Every Thursday at 9:45 AM, the church opens its doors for a Bible study led by Judy Wise, described by the church as a well-known Bible teacher and speaker. Her focus is on living a Christ-centered life empowered by the Holy Spirit, and the class is open to all adults. Entry is at the rear of the building.
Cornerstone Kidz and 412 Youth
Children and teenagers have a place of their own at Cornerstone. Cornerstone Kidz is the children's ministry, and 412 Youth is the program for middle and high school students. Both run alongside the adult Sunday morning schedule, giving families a single window for worship, learning, and fellowship.
What the Church Believes
Cornerstone Family Church frames its life around Luke 4:18-19, anchoring its teaching in the Spirit of the Lord anointing to preach the gospel to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, and set the captives free. From that passage the church draws a vision of every member walking in peace, freedom, restoration, divine health, and strength, and a mission to win the lost and grow the found by teaching the uncompromised Word of God.
The statement of faith covers the Bible as the inspired, authoritative Word of God, free from error and relevant for every situation. Man, in the church's view, is made in the image of God and uniquely dignified, separated from Him through disobedience and unable to restore the relationship through personal effort. Marriage is described as God's covenant design between one man and one woman.
Jesus Christ is confessed as fully human and fully God, the only way back into right relationship with the Father through His death and resurrection. Salvation is by faith alone, not earned through church membership, sacraments, or works. The church practices water baptism by full immersion and teaches that the baptism of the Holy Spirit, received after salvation, is confirmed by speaking in other tongues. Divine healing is taught as a privilege of every believer. The Church itself is described not as a building but as a gathered body of believers working together in love and unity.
Cornerstone also holds to a literal heaven and hell, a real return of Jesus Christ for His Church, and the call for believers to be trained in Kingdom principles for Kingdom results.
Messages, Giving, and Staying in Touch
Recordings of the Sunday morning messages, the Sunday Bible study, and the Thursday Bible study are posted for anyone to listen to. Older messages are available on the church's YouTube channel, with selected videos also shared on Facebook. Online giving is set up for members and friends who want to support the church's ministry.

A Simple Invitation
Cornerstone Family Church is the kind of place where the bulletin board and the Bible are equally at home. Sunday school opens at 9:15 AM, worship begins at 10:30, and on Thursdays the chairs are set out again at 9:45 for another hour in the Word. Whether someone is new to the neighborhood, looking for a deeper study, or simply hungry for fellowship over a shared meal on the second Sunday of the month, there is a chair waiting on Firman Drive.
