Six Campuses Across the Fox Valley
Christ Community Church (CCC) is a non-denominational evangelical church headquartered in South Elgin, Illinois, with five additional campuses stretching across the Fox Valley and reaching into DeKalb and Joliet. Each location shares the same motto, "Belong. Grow. Serve. Reach.," and gathers around a common weekend worship service, a shared Sermon Library, and centralized leadership.
The six campuses are:
- Aurora - 3500 W Galena Blvd.
- DeKalb - 2350 Pride Ave.
- Huntley - 10547 Faiths Way
- Joliet - 1516 Edgerton Dr.
- St. Charles / South Elgin - 820 S. Randall Rd., South Elgin
- Streamwood - 23 W. Streamwood Blvd.
The general phone line is 630.485.3300, with campus-specific extensions for each location.
Worship With Translation in More Than 50 Languages
Weekend services are offered at every campus, and the message is broadcast live through Watch Live for people joining from home or while traveling. A signature feature is AI-powered translation of the entire service into more than 50 languages, alongside real-time English closed captioning for the hard of hearing. Listeners follow the translation on their own device and are invited to bring ear buds.
Raising the Next Generation
Christ Community invests heavily in children and students. KidsWorld ministries serve from birth through fifth grade on every campus, while separate student ministries run middle school and high school programming at each location.
Two schools operate under the church umbrella:
- A Latere Academy, a hybrid school with campuses at St. Charles/South Elgin and Aurora
- Little Journey Preschool, located at the Huntley campus
Each summer, Camp Commotion hosts overnight and day camp experiences for kids and students, with financial assistance available for families.
Groups for Every Season of Life
The church organizes ministry tracks for adults in specific life stages:
- Men and Women's ministries host Bible studies, events, and retreats
- Young Adults connects singles and early-career adults
- 60+ gathers seniors for fellowship and service
- Care Ministry walks alongside people through grief, illness, hardship, and life transitions
Smaller fellowship happens through Community Groups that meet in homes across the region, and the church-wide Rooted discipleship experience introduces newcomers to the life of the church.
Good Neighbor Kitchen and Community Impact
The church operates the Good Neighbor Kitchen, a food truck that brings meals to neighborhoods across the region. Community Impact and International Impact ministries extend the church's reach both locally and globally, partnering with other churches and nonprofit efforts to meet practical needs.
Bible Savvy, Sermons, and Discipleship
Bible Savvy is the church's flagship Bible-reading initiative, offering a reading plan, a podcast, the COMMA reading method, workshops, and classes. Sermon messages are archived in a Sermon Library, and a podcast series called Faith at Work explores applying faith in everyday vocations.
RightNow Media is offered as a free resource for church families, and an online course platform extends learning beyond Sunday. A weekly church newsletter keeps everyone informed, and a Prayer Wall invites prayer requests from the wider community.
Planting Churches Where People Need Them
Through its Places Need Churches and Help For Churches ministries, Christ Community helps plant and strengthen churches in other communities, offering coaching, internships, and residency programs for future pastors and ministry leaders.
